Substation Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and activities for multiple projects, including developing staffing plans and schedules to meet delivery requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers to ensure successful execution of project scope.
• Oversee the design team to ensure quality deliverables are produced within budget and schedule while managing risk and change.
• Facilitate work planning activities, including man-hour development, quality management, and risk management.
• Implement project control measures and conduct periodic reviews to facilitate successful project delivery.
• Interface and maintain professional relationships with Owners and design partners.
• Mentor and develop the technical capabilities of the design staff.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience in power delivery or related engineering sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Design Manager, or Engineering Manager.
• Strong knowledge of engineering and construction standards, including scheduling and contract management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) and project control software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
