Substation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create design documents and drawings, including one and three-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, communications diagrams, and wiring diagrams
• Develop specifications for the procurement, installation, and testing of substation equipment
• Utilize engineering application software for ground grid design, equipment sizing, relay coordination, and electrical studies
• Coordinate project activities with project leads, customer representatives, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• At least 3 years of experience performing engineering-related duties
• Knowledge of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
