Substation Design Engineer (GIS)

Responsibilities

• Design substations for power plant, distribution, or transmission projects in local and international environments
• Manage substation high voltage plant and equipment including LV equipment, Switchyard, and Busbar configurations
• Execute GIS Substation busbar configuration, layouts, and protection
• Apply knowledge of Low Voltage equipment, SCADA, Secondary equipment protections, and LV to HV interface

Requirements

• Registered Electrical Engineer
• 2-5 years of experience with Power Utilities, T&D companies, or Renewable connection projects
• Extensive experience in electrical networks and substations at 60KV level and above
• Strong knowledge of GIS Substation busbar configuration and layouts
• Knowledge of Philippines and International standards, codes, and industry guidelines
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NGCP or European protocols
• Proficiency with SEE Electrical, AutoCAD 2D/3D, or Revit
