About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based substance use disorder services through counseling, psycho-educational classes, and process groups
  • Diagnose substance use disorders in accordance with DSM-5 and ASAM requirements
  • Develop and maintain Individual Service Plans (ISP) and provide necessary case management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client activities and treatment services
  • Collaborate with behavioral healthcare providers and community partners to support client needs
  • Participate in staff meetings, peer file audits, and agency supervision to ensure quality of care

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or a related human services field
  • Valid Washington State SUDPT or SUDP credential from the Department of Health
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 and ASAM requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a mental health or behavioral health field
  • Experience working in the substance use disorder field or residential services
  • For SUDPT: Completion of the first 50 hours of direct supervised training
  • Valid driver's license and personal auto insurance (if required by work location)
