Associate’s Degree in mental health or behavioral health, Current SUDP license in Washington State, Knowledge of DSM-5 and ASAM requirements

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based substance use disorder services through counseling, psycho-educational classes, and process groups
  • Diagnose substance use disorders in accordance with DSM-5 and ASAM requirements
  • Manage client cases and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with WAC, agency, and funder policies
  • Collaborate with behavioral healthcare providers and community partners to support client Individual Service Plans
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the delivery of quality professional services
  • Assist in the development of treatment methodologies and educational offerings

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or a related human services field
  • Current SUDP license credentialed with the Washington State Department of Health
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 and ASAM requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or a related human services field
  • Experience working in the substance use disorder field or residential services
  • Valid driver’s license, personal auto insurance, and a clean driving record
