Substance Use Disorder Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based substance use disorder services through counseling, psycho-educational classes, and process groups
• Diagnose substance use disorders in accordance with DSM-5 and ASAM requirements
• Develop and manage client Individual Service Plans and provide necessary case management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical activities in compliance with WAC, agency, and funder policies
• Collaborate with behavioral healthcare providers and community partners to support client rehabilitation
• Participate in staff meetings, peer file audits, and agency supervision to ensure quality of care

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or a related human services field
• Current SUDP credential from the Washington Department of Health
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 and ASAM requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, behavioral health, or a related human services field
• Previous experience working in the substance use disorder field or residential services
• Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance
