Subsidiary Accountant - Europe

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability and quality of accounting for European entities by supervising entries, closings, and reporting.
• Perform General Ledger (GL) reviews and account reconciliations, including intercompany and payment method accounts.
• Prepare monthly reporting for local accounting firms in various European markets (DK, DE, IT, etc.).
• Manage cash flows and execute transfers to the parent entity according to the group treasury plan.
• Coordinate with retail operations and Store Managers to reconcile boutique POS collections with bank statements.
• Act as a key point of contact for local accounting firms and internal operational teams regarding fiscal and administrative matters.

Requirements

• Higher education degree with a specialization in accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in general accounting.
• Full mastery of accounting fundamentals, General Ledger, reconciliations, and cash management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with digital tools.
• Fluent English skills for working in an international and multicultural environment.
• Strong sense of rigor, autonomy, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP.
