Subsidiary Accountant - EMEA

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting entries, month-end closings, reporting, reconciliations, and cash flows for European entities.
• Prepare monthly ledger extracts and perform General Ledger (GL) and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reporting extracts and act as the primary point of contact for external accounting firms in various regions.
• Execute transfers to the parent company and monitor incoming and outgoing cash flows.
• Reconcile store sales collections (POS) with bank statements and support store managers with cash and card transaction reconciliations.
• Collaborate with financial analysts and operational teams on accounting, tax, and administrative matters.

Requirements

• Higher education degree with a specialization in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in general accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, General Ledger processes, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort using digital tools.
• Fluency in English.
• Rigorous, autonomous, and a strong team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP.
