Subsea Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical service, including installation, testing, and commissioning of subsea products.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues regarding power, automation, and control systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and repairs to minimize customer downtime.
• Support service sales and project implementation by providing technical expertise to project managers.
• Act as a key technical contact for Oil, Gas & Chemical (OG&C) customers to ensure high satisfaction.
• Create detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation of all field activities and equipment history.
• Lead supplier root cause investigations and manage product/process qualifications.
• Support service competence development by training internal engineers and localizing service tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or vocational diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in after-sales service, project execution, or commissioning within industrial automation or power systems.
• Proven experience with subsea products, industrial communication systems, and on-site installation.
• Ability and willingness to undertake frequent and sometimes urgent business travel for on-site project work.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification of subsea service.
• Demonstrated experience specifically with Siemens Energy subsea products.
