Submarine Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support Department of Defense logistics, sustainment, and submarine maintenance operations
• Coordinate with Navy stakeholders, supply communities, and maintenance organizations to resolve material and readiness challenges
• Conduct detailed supply support research and identify impediments to material readiness
• Coordinate alternate material resolutions and support lifecycle sustainment activities for Ohio Class and Columbia Class submarines
• Support high-visibility Navy acquisition and sustainment initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field
• 7+ years of relevant experience in logistics, sustainment, acquisition, or program support
• 5+ years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD)
• Active Secret security clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including critical path and risk management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) programs or Program Executive Offices
• Direct experience in submarine maintenance, logistics, or sustainment
• Experience coordinating with NAVSUP, DLA, DCMA, and Fleet stakeholders
• Working knowledge of Navy tools such as N-ERP, PDREP, eCANNAB, ISARP, NSLC, M&SWP, or SMMIS
• Prior Navy or submarine community experience
