Submarine ILS Supply Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory management, material coordination, data entry, and property control for submarine modernization processes
• Assist technicians with equipment removal and installations
• Create, complete, and verify receiving and shipping documentation, including reporting discrepancies
• Provide logistic deck plate support to removal/installation team leads
• Store, stack, and palletize heavy, sensitive, and controlled government electronic equipment following safety regulations
• Operate hand or power trucks for warehousing duties
• Perform quality assurance inspections, inventory process checks, and material examinations
• Manage inventory for decentralized controlled items, supplies, and equipment
• Generate and submit configuration files

Requirements

• Active Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• High School Diploma
• Five (5) years of military material or supply functions experience (e.g., warehouse lead, logistics support, or acquisition/distribution)
• Knowledge of government supply systems, programs, policies, and nomenclature
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a government driving permit
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CDMD-OA, NDE, SILC, TDMIS, or NTIRA
• Familiarity with NAVSEA submarine modernization ILS processes, including ILS Certification and Configuration Management
