Subdirector de Obras

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate a multi-territory portfolio of construction, adaptation, and remodeling projects for bank branches and offices.
• Define and develop project strategies, master plans, schedules, and budgets while optimizing resources and timelines.
• Lead direct reports, including managers and coordinators, and manage multidisciplinary internal teams and external providers.
• Ensure technical, regulatory, environmental, and safety compliance across all project phases.
• Monitor physical and financial progress, control budgets, and manage risks, changes, and deviations in time and cost.
• Represent the Bank before internal clients, property owners, and authorities, resolving controversies and negotiating with contractors.
• Validate final project deliveries and prepare closing reports including lessons learned.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in construction project management, administration, and supervision.
• Proven experience managing simultaneous project programs across different geographic locations.
• Experience leading regional teams and managing multidisciplinary groups.
• Proficiency in MS Project and AutoCAD for plan review and corrections.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and budget control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Availability for frequent travel between territories and field operations.
• Availability for extended or night shifts when required by operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP/HANA and Ariba for estimation, purchasing, and control management.
