About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement planning, including the preparation and analysis of purchase requests and review of statements of work.
  • Draft and negotiate various contractual documents such as subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Prepare award recommendations and fully administer subcontract agreements from initiation to final closeout.
  • Partner with Project Managers to develop formal procurement plans and monitor subcontract compliance with insurance and bonding requirements.
  • Document procurement files in accordance with company policy and participate in regular program procurement meetings.
  • Ensure subcontractors meet contractual compliance requirements by working with accounts payable and certified payroll.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Federal, State, or Local Government procurement and subcontract administration.
  • Proven experience working with FFP, IDIQ, and T&M contract types.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
  • Procurement experience within the construction industry (private commercial or USG).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Kahua or similar Project Management software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as NCMA, ISM, or NIGP.
  • Strong expertise in commercial contract negotiation and vendor relations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, and team-based environment.
