Responsibilities

• Perform repair and reconstruction work for residential and commercial clients
• Install wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, and stud work
• Design, build, and install cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall, and insulation
• Add fixtures and fittings including door handles, locks, hinges, and closures
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw or pre-constructed items
• Lay out floorings, roofings, and drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements

• Satisfactory background check
• Skilled in carpentry, framing, and general construction trades
• Ability to work with lumber, fiberglass, and pre-constructed materials
• Experience with flooring, roofing, and drywall installation
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the New Hampton, NY area
