Subcontracting Manager

Responsibilities

• Organize subcontracted production for Hamelin France products to ensure timely stock availability.
• Optimize stock levels and control costs through effective supply planning and production smoothing.
• Manage the order portfolio, including launching orders and monitoring lead times.
• Coordinate the shipment of components to subcontractors and supervise necessary transport.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure service level targets are met.
• Handle disputes regarding quantity, quality, and pricing.
• Supervise rolling inventories and legal inventories at subcontractor sites.
• Manage subcontractor and finished goods stocks to meet depreciation objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and certification standards (FSC/PEFC, EU ECOLABEL).

Requirements

• Bac + 2 degree in Logistics, Production Management, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in SAP (ERP) and office tools.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply data.
• Ability to work reactively and manage stress during high-activity peak seasons.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Rigorous organizational skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
