About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with conducting clinical trials ensuring compliance with protocol requirements, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines
- Provide leadership and mentorship to site staff
- Participate in investigator meetings and educational initiatives
- Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and protocol modifications
- Oversee subject safety, trial conduct compliance, and the informed consent process
- Communicate effectively with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and research network leadership
- Provide ongoing training and support to research staff
Requirements
- Eligible for or active unencumbered license to practice in British Columbia
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Sub-Investigator for clinical research trials
