Sub Investigator NP/PA

Responsibilities

• Assist with conducting clinical trials ensuring compliance with protocol requirements, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines
• Provide leadership and mentorship to site staff
• Participate in investigator meetings and educational initiatives
• Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and protocol modifications
• Oversee subject safety, trial conduct compliance, and the informed consent process
• Communicate effectively with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and research network leadership
• Provide ongoing training and support to research staff

Requirements

• Eligible for or active unencumbered license to practice in British Columbia
• Board-certified or board-eligible
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Sub-Investigator for clinical research trials
