Sub-Gerente de Soporte

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, performance, integrity, and security of databases supporting banking operations and digital products.
• Administer multi-cloud environments, performing maintenance, monitoring, and technical support.
• Develop maintenance plans, optimize queries (tuning), and configure alerting systems to ensure optimal service performance.
• Provide operational support, execute corrective tasks, and resolve technical incidents in relational and cloud environments.
• Manage data backups and recovery processes.
• Implement security policies and access controls in compliance with current regulations.
• Establish storage architectures and basic data flows, collaborating on operational pipeline integration.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems, Computing, Informatics, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of verifiable experience in database administration.
• Experience with relational databases, cloud environment support, and data infrastructure monitoring.
• Proficiency with cloud services including AWS (RDS, DynamoDB), Azure (SQL, Cosmos DB), and GCP (BigQuery).
• Operational knowledge of data engineering tools such as Snowflake and Airflow/Astronomer.
• Intermediate technical English skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (3x2) residing in Mexico City or Monterrey.
