About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage credit risk for the Wholesale Banking segment by developing and monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Analyze new transactions, special operations, and credit structures to provide advisory to business areas.
- Manage selective credit portfolio methodologies, including target markets, early warnings, and risk acceptance criteria.
- Design and organize information systems to improve data exploitation for credit risk administration.
- Prepare and propose budget proposals for risk costs, reserves, and write-offs for the Wholesale Banking portfolio.
- Implement strategies to optimize the cost of risk while ensuring compliance with national and international regulatory frameworks.
- Provide executive reports and monitoring for Committees, Senior Management, and the Board of Directors.
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Financial Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Risk Management (preferably Credit) or Wholesale Banking Credit Analysis.
- Strong skills in financial, sector, and market analysis.
- Intermediate knowledge of statistical analysis and econometrics.
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with VBA and Macros.
- Basic to intermediate experience with database tools such as SQL, Oracle, or SAS.
- Advanced Spanish language skills, specifically regarding financial and banking terminology.
- Ability to create executive presentations with complex financial information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interacting with credit portfolio indicators and other banking financial indicators.
- Digital perspective, including familiarity with the use of AI in financial processes.
