sUAS Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual requirements, including PLS requirements for design, as-built, monumentation, and layout.
• Conduct design model reviews to ensure file accuracy for survey field calculations and coordinate with designers on file types.
• Oversee field survey operations, including staffing, equipment scheduling, and establishing project survey plans.
• Perform periodic reviews of record keeping, field procedures, and survey audits to ensure professional standards.
• Provide weekly staff training sessions to maintain a competent and qualified survey team.
• Spend approximately 30% of time in the field observing and instructing survey operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field.
• Strong mathematical skills with the ability to apply algebra and geometry concepts (area, volume, circumference, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed to meet project demands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress and meet immediate deadlines.
