About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise prospective, outbound, and inbound students on international programs, policies, and academic preparation.
- Manage the exchange process by communicating with sister-school representatives and coordinating with campus offices like the Registrar and Residence Life.
- Plan and execute study abroad events, including workshops, information sessions, seminars, and career fairs.
- Oversee study abroad marketing efforts, including social media strategy and the maintenance of web resources.
- Collect and analyze study abroad data to support university goals.
- Supervise work-study students on special projects.
- Identify and recommend technological improvements to enhance advising and administrative processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
- One year of experience in administrative support within a student-support office or a relevant environment.
- One year of experience in event planning or execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in MS Teams.
- Valid driver's license (Real ID preferred) and ability to meet age requirements for university driving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in International Relations, Education, International Business, or Management.
- Two years of professional experience in education abroad or with a study abroad program provider.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating academic records.
