About the Company
The mission of Christ’s Church of the Valley is to win people to Jesus Christ, train believers to become disciples, and send disciples to impact the world. The Students Ministry supports the mission of CCV by shaping students to become Christ-centered difference makers.
Responsibilities
- Execute Junior and Senior High events and programs
- Cast the overall CCV & Students Ministry vision with parents and volunteers
- Provide pastoral care for families and coaches
- Recruit, train, and retain volunteers for all weekend areas and events
- Develop and maintain school campus involvement
- Follow up with first time students
- Collect and report accurate weekly attendance
- Work with the team to plan and execute church-wide events like Easter and Christmas Eve
Requirements
- 2 years minimum experience leading a ministry of youth and volunteers
- Alignment with CCV CORE Values and Staff Fundamentals
- Must be/become an active member of CCV
- Demonstrated maturity as a Christ follower
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and results-driven skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Youth Ministry
- Athletic team experience
- Software and technology skills
