Student Success Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operations of the Whitman Learning Center, including supervising Excel tutors and managing tutor vouchers.
• Support the delivery of academic success workshops and seminars covering topics such as time management and study skills.
• Execute orientation activities for new undergraduate and graduate students.
• Oversee day-to-day administration of the peer mentor program.
• Support major school events including Convocation, Family Weekend, and community-building activities.
• Facilitate strategic programming initiatives such as Whitman First (first-generation student support) and mental wellness programming.
• Assist with leave of absence management, including tracking, re-enrollment procedures, and transition support.
• Support program assessment through data collection, student surveys, and participation tracking.
• Assist with budget tracking and expenditure monitoring in partnership with the Assistant Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with CRM systems and Salesforce.
• Demonstrated experience with budget management and data tracking.
• Strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse community of students, faculty, and staff.
