Student Success Coach

Responsibilities

• Build and manage supportive, inclusive coaching relationships with students via phone, email, text, and in-person sessions
• Help students navigate systems, set goals, and create plans for self-empowerment
• Monitor student progress and apply success best practices to ensure course completion
• Manage caseload operational elements and maintain effective communication strategies
• Attend and report student progress in faculty and campus retention meetings
• Function as a point of contact for students, faculty, and staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related work experience
• 2+ years of experience in coaching, relationship building, or one-on-one support
• Experience in a contact center environment dealing with metrics and systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (oral and written)
• Ability to travel/drive locally on a weekly or as-needed basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in environments with frequent change and high urgency
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
