Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain routine to monitor student intakes and Individualized Learning Plans
- Increase motivation and provide positive reinforcement to learning
- Instruct students in academic subjects, social interaction, and life skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of and utilize all available curriculum resources
- Establish and maintain regular channels of communication with home, staff, and related agencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work on a team of accountable colleagues
- Desire to motivate and work with urban students
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high expectations
- Ability to pass DOJ and FBI pre-employment clearances
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience teaching a core subject
- Administrative License
