About the Company

Upper Crust Food Service proudly serves Sororities and Fraternities, providing freshness, quality, and excellent customer service. We solve the lack of consistency and professionalism in Greek life kitchens by preparing tens of thousands of meals weekly for students across the country.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room
• Wash kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes using a dishwasher or by hand
• Put away clean dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
• Sweep and wash floors
• Assist in unloading and putting away deliveries
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers
• Communicate regularly with management via calls, emails, and texts

Requirements

• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Working knowledge of operating a commercial dishwasher
• Familiarity with industry best practices
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8+ hours)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Capability to work in environments with extreme heat, cold, or loud noise

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous restaurant dishwashing experience
• Valid food safety handler and sanitation certification
• High school or vocational school coursework in kitchen basics
