Student Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cross-functional student services for Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Bursar, and Academic Records functions.
• Advise, investigate, and resolve complex questions and issues from current and prospective students, parents, and the public.
• Partner with colleagues across campus to provide efficient referral services for students requiring assistance from specific academic service areas.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new strategies to enhance the operation of the Campus411 service center.
• Model professional courtesy, respect, and high-quality service behaviors when interacting with all internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in Admissions, Academic Records, Registration, Financial Aid, Bursar, or a related service function.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain driver eligibility under university policy.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and travel to off-campus locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or Student Personnel.
• Significant experience working with multiple administrative service functions or within highly complex organizations.
• Working knowledge of CRM and application administration systems such as PeopleSoft, OnBase, PowerFaids, or Slate.
