Student Services Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to students, staff, and prospective students via face-to-face, phone, and digital channels
• Act as the first point of contact to support students throughout their university journey
• Resolve enquiries efficiently and empathetically using sound judgement and initiative
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation in accordance with university policies
• Escalate or refer complex matters to appropriate channels while maintaining confidentiality
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the student experience

Requirements

• Completion of Year 12 or demonstrated equivalent competency
• Proven administrative experience in a customer-focused environment
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service, ideally within education or a service-based sector
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for engaging with a diverse audience
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in digital tools including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email
