Student Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor news channels and scout major PE fundraising and M&A deals for the LinkedIn community
• Research job openings and key personnel moves at top GPs and LPs for the "Roles in PE" newsletter
• Build and maintain a watchlist of local and international PE funds
• Assist with compiling the weekly Private Equity newsletter
• Research and pitch local stories related to the PE sector across company markets
• Manage accurate translation of local stories and ensure editorial consistency
• Monitor top LP activity in Europe and report findings to the editorial team
• Collaborate closely with the editorial team to meet all deadlines

Requirements

• 2.1 or higher predicted grade at a reputable university
• Knowledge of the private equity ecosystem and financial systems
• General commercial awareness
• UK work permit (company does not sponsor visas)
