About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise hourly represented employees in a unionized manufacturing environment
  • Implement Health & Safety laws and promote a safe work environment
  • Ensure quality levels are maintained and improved daily
  • Maintain and exceed efficiency levels through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment
  • Align operations with local and national labour agreements
  • Maintain department records and complete various administrative tasks
  • Achieve business plan objectives and targets through shift rotations and flexible hours

Requirements

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree (3rd or 4th year) in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or Commerce
  • Eligible to work full-time (40 hours per week) in Canada
  • Available for an 8 or 12-month co-op term starting September 2026
  • Willingness to work in a plant environment with flexible hours, including shift work, weekends, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior manufacturing or automotive industry experience
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
