About the role
Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with students, employers, and community partners to support work-integrated learning.
- Coordinate and track student placement applications, interviews, recruitment activities, and related documentation.
- Provide career coaching to students regarding interview preparation, resume and cover letter development, and employer expectations.
- Develop and facilitate educational workshops, seminars, and presentations focused on student success and career development.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring compliance with enrollment and placement information requirements.
- Support the planning and execution of placement-related events and programming.
- Review administrative processes and student feedback to recommend and implement workflow improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of experience.
- Minimum of four years of experience coordinating student placement programs, preferably in a university setting.
- Demonstrated experience in career advising, including supporting students with resumes, cover letters, and interview skills.
- Proven experience in workshop facilitation and delivering presentations or instructional materials.
- Proficiency in database management and maintaining accurate records with high attention to detail.
- Strong technical skills in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Forms, and Teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with student placement software, specifically Symplicity.
