Student Mentor

Responsibilities

• Guide students in formulating their life plans and provide follow-up on their integral development
• Promote healthy lifestyles through the seven dimensions of the wellness model
• Identify and prevent potential causes of student attrition to encourage institutional retention
• Channel students to appropriate programs and services to meet their specific needs
• Detect areas of opportunity in students and define action plans to develop essential competencies
• Monitor institutional alerts that may risk the student experience and provide timely follow-up
• Deliver the "My Life Plan at Tec" course to incoming first-year students
• Provide support to parents regarding student life and well-being topics
• Accompany students through institutional processes related to discipline, academic integrity, and human dignity

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in human development, psychopedagogy, coaching, or counseling
• Bachelor's and Master's degree in a relevant field
• High level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to identify risk behaviors and maintain professional boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced English proficiency
• Certifications or diplomas in coaching, positive psychology, or positive leadership
• Experience in student or professional accompaniment
