Student Life Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and event support for major student events and initiatives
• Respond to high volumes of enquiries from student groups regarding administration and governance
• Liaise with student groups to support the effective operation of their activities
• Review event submissions for compliance, including risk assessment documentation
• Assist with the administration and review of student group funding requests
• Support event logistics including catering, venue bookings, and equipment arrangements
• Monitor student notice boards and digital spaces to ensure compliance with University guidelines

Requirements

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience in business, education, finance, law, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or administration
• Familiarity with student groups and/or student-led initiatives
• Experience managing high-volume administrative processes and competing priorities
• Experience with event coordination and logistics
• Proficiency using databases, systems, and reporting tools
