About the role
Responsibilities
- Learn, apply, and enforce intramural sport rules to officiate and administrate sport contests
- Communicate game information with scorekeepers and supervisors
- Control any disruptions occurring while games are in progress
- Complete incident and accident reports with accurate and detailed information
- Assist Intramural Supervisors with team check-in and conduct pre-game captains’ meetings
- Assist with setup and tear down prior to and following intramural events
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with staff, supervisors, officials, players, and spectators
- Attend all regularly scheduled staff meetings, training days, and workshops

The Student Union, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit auxiliary that maintains major facilities at San Jose State University, including the Diaz Compean Student Union Building, the Provident Credit Union Event Center, and the Spartan Recreation and Aquatic Center.
