About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer student account transactions including posting charges, billing payments, and processing financial aid.
- Provide front-line customer service by greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, and responding to office emails.
- Advise students and families on billing information, student account balances, and available payment options.
- Process and reconcile cash, check, and credit card transactions, including Raven Card payments.
- Manage private scholarship data and facilitate scholarship payments.
- Maintain accurate data entry within Jenzabar One and PowerFAIDS systems.
- Support Perkins Loan collections and maintain data via the ECSI Servicing Select System.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in customer service and interpersonal relations.
- Basic mathematical and bookkeeping/accounting skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with strict confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a financial aid, billing, or bursar's office.
- Experience with database management and higher education administrative systems.
