About the role

Responsibilities

  • Counsel students and families regarding financial aid eligibility, SAP requirements, enrollment, packaging policies, and billing processes.
  • Process daily workflows including financial aid processing, registration-related billing, and Department of Education verification.
  • Manage daily payments, receipts, and reconciliations, including bookstore vouchers and refund requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with registration and graduation processes, including census, grading closeout, and transcript requests.
  • Support Enrollment Management activities such as Open Houses, Accepted Students Days, and scholarship events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in higher education.
  • Proficiency in Banner and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations.
  • Valid Driver's license with the ability to travel between campuses.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish).
  • Experience with Department of Education software products.
