Student Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide developmental and strategic support to university-recognized student organizations for their programming and initiatives.
• Manage logistics and administrative needs for signature campus events such as Homecoming, Fall Fest, and Spring Fest.
• Advise student leaders on event planning, vision development, and budget management.
• Coordinate with external vendors, performers, and agents, including the development and editing of contracts.
• Facilitate student leadership development opportunities and implement assessment tools to measure organizational success.
• Represent the division on various university committees and participate in large-scale programming for undergraduate and graduate populations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Availability to work frequent nights and weekends to support divisional initiatives and campus events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in College Student Development or a related field.
• Previous experience in student affairs or higher education administration.
