Student Employment Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and execute the student employment program, ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage student employment databases, job postings, and online systems to maintain accurate and timely information.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to approve and classify student job descriptions and conduct job audits.
• Implement recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee status changes within HR systems.
• Deliver training and presentations related to student employment operations and program services.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors regarding employment policies and procedures.
• Provide administrative support through the preparation of specialized correspondence and reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with four years of related work experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with one year of related work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing and editing abilities.
• Proficiency in utilizing office equipment and various complex software packages.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to assist a diverse population.
• Basic mathematical skills for data verification and reporting.
