About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide academic, career, and personal counseling to students to address performance, stress, and career planning.
- Design, implement, and assess student-centered programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
- Advise student organizations and manage mentorship programs connecting students with faculty and alumni.
- Collaborate with faculty to identify at-risk students and implement academic support strategies.
- Foster student engagement through academic clubs, volunteer opportunities, and extracurricular activities.
- Respond to student-related crises and develop early intervention and prevention strategies.
- Assist in developing and updating student policies to ensure compliance with institutional standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, Student Affairs, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in student affairs, counseling, or student services.
- Proficiency in using student information systems and standard office software.
- Strong experience in program design, implementation, and event coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated empathy, problem-solving abilities, and cultural competence.
