About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct academic and holistic student support services to a caseload of undergraduates within the TRiO Student Support Services Program.
  • Monitor student success and track progress toward degree completion.
  • Develop, implement, and participate in programs and initiatives designed to support student success.
  • Collaborate with campus partners, including academic advising, Financial Aid, Career Center, and Disability Services, to support student needs.
  • Provide coaching, financial literacy guidance, and educational workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least one year of experience in advising, coaching, or mentoring diverse groups of college students.
  • Working knowledge of student development theory and student-centered approaches.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to process and analyze complex information and communicate it effectively to students and administrators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Experience using emerging technologies and social media to communicate with undergraduate students.
