Student Counsellor

Responsibilities

• Support the academic, social, emotional, and personal development of students
• Work closely with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to promote wellbeing
• Create and maintain a positive learning environment
• Maintain effective records, reporting, and organizational documentation
• Implement safeguarding and child protection practices to ensure student welfare

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (Mandatory)
• Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology (Mandatory)
• 2–3 years of experience as a Psychologist or Student Counsellor, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school community
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional counselling certification or license
• Experience working within a school or educational environment
