Student Clinical Compliance/Office Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical placements for nursing students with clinical partners
• Monitor student compliance regarding credentials, background checks, drug screens, and immunizations
• Use My Clinical Exchange to track compliance and assist with student scheduling
• Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, greeting customers, and managing mail
• Maintain department records, take meeting minutes, and assist with file retrieval
• Manage travel arrangements, expense reports, and department budget tracking
• Coordinate textbook ordering and assist faculty with classroom reservations and media equipment
• Act as a liaison between department faculty and university administration

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Two years of skilled office support experience
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License
• Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA regulations
• Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with clinical compliance programs related to Nursing
• Experience using My Clinical Exchange or similar compliance databases
• Experience with desktop publishing for department communications
