Student CEO

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of peers through recruiting, training, and coaching
• Establish the cafe as a community cornerstone through hospitality and partnerships
• Drive cafe profitability by managing sales growth, labor costs, and inventory
• Serve as the face of Saxbys on campus, communicating mission and values
• Collaborate with the Operations Lead on strategic initiatives
• Support marketing and recruiting teams with content generation and talent identification

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate student of the partner organization in good academic standing
• Must be a Norm Brodsky College of Business major or a College of Arts and Sciences major
• Ability to work 30-40 hours per week during cafe operating hours
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 35 lbs
• Ability to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and ramps

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Saxbys cafe experience
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail
• Demonstrated leadership experience in academic, professional, or volunteer settings

About the Company

The Student CEO (SCEO) role leads all aspects of a Saxbys cafe operation through the Saxbys Experiential Learning Platform, providing undergraduate students with business ownership and leadership development.
