About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assess internship experiences for students within the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS).
  • Implement and assess CAHNRS internship programs in collaboration with unit coordinators and university personnel.
  • Create, promote, and deliver career networking and development opportunities for all CAHNRS programs.
  • Lead the CAHNRS Ignite Research Program and the CAHNRS Top Scholar Programs.
  • Build relationships with current and potential partners to generate financial support for student programs and educational activities.
  • Participate in college-wide recruitment and retention efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three years of professional work experience in student services or a related field.
  • Experience leading or directing the work of others.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet departmental driving standards.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and willingness to travel or work occasional evenings/weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Previous work experience at an institution of higher education.
  • Student services experience in admissions, advising, professional development, or recruitment.
  • Experience in event management or working in business/industry.
