Student Care Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of low to mid-level student care cases involving academic, social, and emotional concerns.
• Serve as the intake coordinator and first point of contact for early alert referrals for traditional students.
• Collaborate with student life deans, resident directors, and other staff to address student care needs and crisis intervention.
• Participate in weekly student care meetings and individual case management sessions.
• Maintain and organize student care systems, files, and case information.
• Assist in developing care protocols, wellness initiatives, and assessment tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, faculty, and staff.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
• Commitment to supporting a Christ-centered educational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Previous experience in higher education.
• Previous experience in counseling, social work, or student resourcing.
