Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team of peers through recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management
• Establish the cafe as a community cornerstone through exceptional hospitality and meaningful partnerships
• Drive cafe profitability by managing sales growth, labor costs, inventory, and operational efficiency
• Serve as the face of Saxbys on campus, communicating the company's mission and values
• Collaborate with the Operations Lead on strategic initiatives and performance updates
• Support the Marketing Team with social media content and local promotional campaigns
• Assist the Recruiting Team in identifying and developing talent

Requirements

• Must be an undergraduate student of the partner organization in good academic standing
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies
• Demonstrated leadership experience in academic, professional, or volunteer settings
• Ability to work 20 hours per week during cafe operating hours
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and ascend/descend stairs/ladders
• Ability to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail
