About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare cookies and other baked goods to support Retail Food operations
- Assemble baked items daily for transport and delivery to retail and dining units
- Ensure all products include accurate ingredient labeling and allergen identification
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including equipment, ovens, counters, and floors
- Research, develop, and introduce new baked goods
- Provide managers with detailed and timely order lists for Bake Shop inventory needs
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques or willingness to learn
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and detailed instructions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning or evening shifts
- Ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to lift 10–20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to push and pull loads up to 150 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a production kitchen environment
