Student Athlete Academic Support and Special Projects Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with academic support services for student athletes and serve as a liaison to faculty regarding academic performance
• Support athletic compliance by helping determine academic eligibility and tracking team GPA information
• Plan and oversee student-athlete events, including Student Athletic Week, senior recognitions, and awards
• Support student-athlete initiatives through the Student Athlete Advisory Committee
• Provide academic coaching by meeting regularly with student athletes to help them reach academic goals
• Monitor academic performance, respond to Early Alert system flags, and assist with advising questions
• Plan and facilitate learning workshops and promote on-campus social and cultural activities for student athletes
• Hire, train, and supervise a student assistant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of or experience in NCAA Division III athletics
