About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform optical characterization measurements on VCSEL and photodiode devices
- Measure and document near-field and far-field emission patterns using beam profilers
- Collect and analyze spectral data using optical spectrum analyzers
- Execute standardized test procedures for laser sensor module performance
- Support data correlation between measurements and existing optical models
- Maintain measurement logs and create visualization reports
Requirements
- Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering, photonics or a comparable technical course of study
- Basic understanding of optics and laser principles
- Data analysis skills with Excel, MATLAB or Python
- Safe, precise work with optical devices
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Availability for 8 - 16 hours per week for 6 months
