About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor the Structures Shop workforce, including carpentry, masonry, roofing, and metal fabrication trades
- Develop and manage shop work schedules, prioritizing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
- Oversee structural repairs, building envelopes, interior fixtures, and other real-property structural elements
- Review and interpret work orders, plans, specifications, and technical drawings
- Implement quality control and quality assurance (QC/QA) processes for all shop-performed work
- Lead safety programs, including risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and PPE enforcement
- Manage shop assets, including tools, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring proper accountability and maintenance
- Coordinate with other base shops and stakeholders to minimize mission impacts and integrate maintenance efforts
Requirements
- Turkish Citizenship
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural maintenance, building trades, or related disciplines
- Relevant Turkish technical diploma or MYK-certified trade qualification
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience over a multi-trade maintenance or structural shop crew
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a medical physical and a Turkish Security background check
- Completion of military service (for male candidates)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a U.S. military contracting environment
- Familiarity with U.S. Air Force facility maintenance and asset management practices
- Experience using CMMS platforms such as TRIRIGA or Maximo
- Ustalık Belgesi (Master Tradesman Certificate) or Kalfa / Journeyman Certification
