Structured Trade Finance Senior Advisor

Responsibilities

• Develop complex deal structures and funding solutions to support global trading origination, including prepays, asset-backed lending, and inventory finance.
• Lead regional deal teams to develop and syndicate standard and bespoke financing structures that provide a competitive advantage.
• Build and maintain banking and syndication relationships to ensure timely deal placement and market insight development.
• Contribute to all aspects of structured trade transactions, from complex financial modeling to term sheet development and due diligence.
• Coordinate with legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure appropriate documentation, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Improve financial and risk valuation models to support the pricing of credit, working capital, and optionality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in commodity or trade finance, specifically handling structured transactions.
• Proven experience working at a trading house, bank, or major oil company.
• Strong expertise in deal structuring and a track record of closing complex financings.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related technical field.
• High level of financial acumen and advanced analytical skills.
• Extensive experience in counterparty negotiation and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of credit derivatives and foreign exchange markets.
• Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerBI).
• Ability to navigate complex tax, accounting, and legal implications within deal structures.
